Cookies & browser storage
ShipTally uses essential storage for security and account features. Optional analytics and marketing technologies stay off unless their purpose is enabled and the relevant privacy choice has been recorded.
Essential
Essential storage can be used to keep you signed in, protect forms against cross-site request forgery, maintain secure checkout/session continuity and remember your privacy choice. These features cannot work reliably without the relevant storage.
Analytics
ShipTally may use aggregate analytics to understand which parts of the service are useful. Where an applicable UK storage/access exception is relied on, ShipTally will provide clear information and a simple way to object. Where consent is required, analytics will not load before that choice.
Marketing
Advertising, remarketing or cross-site conversion tracking is treated separately. It remains off unless ShipTally introduces it and a valid choice permits it.
Change your choice
Open cookie settings at any time. Rejecting optional storage does not stop the core tariff or paid account service.
Browser storage used by the application
Some browser-based calculators can use session storage to carry a live tariff selection into another ShipTally tool. The privacy preference itself is held in local storage so the site can remember your objection or consent.
For current UK guidance on cookies and other storage/access technologies, see the Information Commissioner's Office guidance.
