Subprocessors & external services
This page identifies the main services the commercial build is designed to use. Only configured/activated services process account or uploaded data.
Fasthosts
Website hosting and server infrastructure. Normal hosting/security logs and application requests are processed through the hosting service.
HMRC / UK Trade Tariff
Official tariff queries. Product description/code, origin/destination and tariff/date parameters needed for the lookup are sent to the Trade Tariff service.
Stripe
Subscription checkout and billing when activated. Payment card details are handled through Stripe's hosted payment environment rather than being stored by ShipTally.
OpenAI API
Optional document intelligence when activated. Commercial invoice/PDF/image content is sent to the API to extract structured shipment data. ShipTally sets Responses API storage off in its request and does not intentionally retain the raw source upload after processing. OpenAI's API data-control and abuse-monitoring rules still apply.
Changes
If a provider changes or a new material processor is introduced, this page and the Privacy Notice should be updated before the new processing goes live.
